However, beneath her sunny disposition lies a professional and dutiful side that makes her a hard worker and reliable ally. Although usually confident in her sense of judgment, she is still prone to doubt — particularly when it comes to decisions that affect others.

▌COMBAT Having initially attended Galbadia Garden, armed combat took precedence over magic for Rylie. She has undergone intensive training to become adept with her weapon of choice, the spear. Her technique is primarily offensive, full of powerful thrusts and slashes delivered with quick reflexes and deadly accuracy. While she is also trained in defensive maneuvers, her goal in battle is to cut down (or at least disable) her foe before she needs to utilize them. Although an excellent combatant, Rylie’s additional training as a field medic can prove to be far more invaluable to her comrades. She prefers using tangible items (bandages, potions, etc.), but may be stocked with Recovery magic to bolster her capabilities. However, this magic is reserved only for specific situations, as she typically lacks the focus and resolve to cast. Comrades should consider Rylie’s high vulnerability to the full range of offensive magic, and provide defense accordingly.
